OnGuardOnline.gov "This web site includes tips, articles, games and videos in both English and Spanish to help consumers to be on guard against Internet fraud, secure their computers, and protect their personal information. The games help teens -- and all computer users -- evaluate how savvy they are about computer safety, and reinforce seven basic practices for safe computing."
Now available to the computer section is External Links, available on the sidebar, which provides links to computer training guides, free software, and other resources available outside of Warsaw Community Public Library.
WCPL offers many technology services to our patrons, including free Internet access, access to multiple office suites for patrons and students, computer education, free professional grade software, and free public wireless Internet.
Internet. WCPL offers 20 Internet stations for public use. A computer card or a library card with computer access is required. Photo ID will be required if you forget your card or your pin number. When you log into the internet computer you will be asked to agree to our Computer Usage & Internet Acceptable Use Policy.
Visitors to our community should ask at the Circulation Desk for a temporary pass. Photo ID is required to use a temporary pass.
Word Processing. WCPL also offers several word processing stations for public use. Each station is loaded with Microsoft Office and OpenOffice.org (see below) and documents may be printed for a small fee. Neither a library card nor picture ID is required to use the word processing stations.
Wireless Access. Wireless access is available during normal library hours, and follows the 802.11b & g standards. A setup guide is available at the Reference Desk, or you can check here.
