Birth–Age 6

Summer Reading is for all ages! We have a program especially for babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and their caregivers. Encourage your child to talk, sing, read, write, and play. Track your child's reading and learning time online or with a paper log (PDF). Try the bonus challenges made just for them! (PDF)

Grades K–6

Summer Reading is great fun for children in elementary school! (6th graders, you may participate in Teen Summer Reading instead, if you choose.) Keep your mind active during school break, and enjoy being creative this summer. Read on your own or with your family. Read any books or magazines you want—audiobooks too! Track your reading time online or with a paper log (PDF). Try the bonus challenges made just for you. (PDF)
