How to access eAudiobooks

An audiobook (talking book) is a recorded reading of a book.  Although talking books were originally designed for use by the visually impaired, they can also be an excellent way to pass the time while driving or exercising.  Our library offers talking books by bestselling authors in many genres, including fiction, romance, mystery, inspirational, biography, etc.  Our collection is largely unabridged which means the books have not been altered (e.g. shortened) in any way.  We currently carry talking books for children, teens, and adults, on cassette, CD, and MP3 disc.  We also have a new collection of downloadable audiobooks (eAudiobooks) from NetLibrary.

Audiobooks are included in our Online Catalog.  If you are using the General Keyword, All Title Browse, or Author Browse searches, the book title will be denoted as a talking book by a [sound recording] label.  You can also use the Talking Book Title Browse on the first search screen.  This will limit your results to only audio books.  You can even search “talking books” as a subject.
