WCPL has a collection of nonfiction and fiction books to help adults and young adults successfully learn to read and write English.  As such, the Literacy collection is also excellent for ESL learners.

Although the books in the Literacy collection have subjects of interest to adults, the materials are written at a lower reading level, typically 3rd - 8th grade.  The nonfiction collection includes individual titles on a variety of subjects, such as job hunting and life skills, and a wide array of textbooks. 

The fiction collection helps adult new readers build vocabulary with both classic and popular novels.  This collection is also great for high school students struggling with literature assignments.
