Donations

Donations of print and non-print materials are accepted with the understanding that there are no conditions attached to their disposition.  Gift materials must meet the selection criteria applied to purchased items and must be in good condition before they are added to the Library collection.  All other items will be placed in a booksale or used in other ways to benefit the Library.

Memorials

Monetary donations for the purchase of books, and other lending materials, are appropriate for any occasion.  They can act as memorials, lasting remembrances of a friend or relative, or they can celebrate a special occasion that holds a memorable place in your life.

Forms are available in the Adminstrative Department if you would like to donate a memorial book.  If the donor does not specify a particular title, Library staff will select a suitable book according to the special interests stated on the form.  A gift plate, bearing the name of the donor and the name of the honoree, is placed on the item.
